Primary and secondary pupils across the Black Country were rewarded for their achievements at this year’s annual Student Awards ceremony which took place on the 4th November at Dudley Zoological Gardens, in association with Express and Star.

Michael Collie and Satnam Rana from BBC Midlands Today hosted the event, where they announced the winners of the Student Awards competition.

Among the presentations were the ‘Star Pupil’ awards for pupils who stand out in their schools for both academic and other achievements.

Jodie Westwood(11TL) was presented with a Star Pupil award  for her excellent academic achievements and her work as a Maths Ambassador and PE Ambassador.
